Three Phases of the Consulting Process for Family Firms

Typically, there are three stages or phases to the consulting process beginning with the evaluation, and culminating with implementing key solutions.

Evaluation Phase: Typically, the evaluation phase takes between 1 to 4 days to complete, depending on the size of the business and number of family members employed by the firm. The evaluation includes a site visit to the business, individual interviews (usually at your business site) and review of key documents.

Feedback Phase: In most cases, the feedback session, with findings and suggested solution paths presented, takes 2-4 hours.

Strategic Phase: The strategic phase, during which your firm works with Dr. Daniel's input, consulting and coaching, can occur over a few month period. Often, this phase begins with weekly consulting sessions with the goal of reducing the frequency as soon as it becomes feasible.
